From growler thanks to KornDogg. Poured very dark brown with a thin tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, coconut, chocolate. Taste was of roasted coffee, chocolate, toasted coconut, with a nice body. A pretty nice porter.

Draft at Camp Hill location. Pours a clear dark brown with a minimal whispy head. Nose is coconut extract smelling with a hint of root beer. Some slight coffee and roast. The coconut flavor has this hard edge to it like it was an alcohol extract maybe. Some chocolate and roast emerges on the finish. Have to say that I agree with mj on this one, tastes just like an Almond Joy all the way. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with fizzy prickly carbonation and a slightly sticky sweet finish. Overall, this really needs to have the coconut toned down and make it more of a suggestion of coconut instead of all coconut.

Aroma: toasted coconut, melted milk chocolate, little grittiness/earthiness, some cream/milk Appearance: dark brown-->black, tan head, lacing
Flavor: toasted coconut, milk chocolate, cream/milk--like a melted Almond Joy candy bar
Palate: smooth, creamy, toasted coconut/chocolate aftertaste

Draft at the Harrisburg brewery. Dark brown body with a tan head, patchy but not thick. Soapy coconut nose with some light chocolate and very light bread or toast. Flavor is almost entirely coconut, syrupy and cheap tasting, with very low roast and chocolate. Sweet and candy-like, it tastes and smells like Almond Joy. Thin, banal and plain.

this was actually a really nice porter, it surprised me cause i don’t like coconuts, so i thought i wouldn’t like this, but your can barely detect the coconut. It had more of a mocha roast taste to it, with a small touch of coconut towards the end. Good body, good porter.

Thanks to axilla... Appears a dark brown color with crimson notes when held to the light. A small, beige head quickly fades into a tiny cap. Small streaks of lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of mocha, cocoa, caramel, and mild coconut. Taste echoes the aroma with a mix of mocha and caramel standing out with a hint of coconut making it’s presence known in the flavor. Mouthfeel is full bodied, mildly astringent, sweet, fruity, along with a coconut milk like sweetness found in the background.

Tasted from Growler courtesy of axilla. Poured a dark, dark brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of roast, chocolate and very light coconut. Tastes of the same. Coconut was on the subtle side all the way around.

Poured a dark brown / red color with a thin, light tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of light coconut, and roasted malts, with a bit of bakers chocolate as well. Taste of much of the same, with faint coconut, roasted malts, and cocoa as well, with a somewhat thin mouthfeel.
