on tap in gettysburg... pours a handsome black/brown with a creamy beige head and lots of spotty lacing. there is a mild sourness in the nose amongst notes of ground coffee, roasted grain, vanilla, cocoa and some smoke/char. the flavor mirrors the aroma... with some roasted nuts, smoke and light sourness on the finish. the coffee is throwing off some vegetal notes. medium body is a bit thin feeling across the tongue. 7/4/7/3/15/3.6

Poured an opaque black color with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, some cocoa, smoke, espresso, and nuts. Taste of smoked wood, coffee, roast, espresso, and a bit of bitter dark chocolate in the finish.

Growler...pours a deep brown with amber notes and a creamy tan head. Aroma of coffee, peanut butter, nuts, chocolate, toffee and Hershey bars. Flavor of roasted malt, light coffee, nuts, toffee, coffee and a little thin.

Very nice brew. Has a nice espresso/ coffee aroma, a nice pure espresso taste, body could have been a bit better, but a nice brew.
