Commercial Description:
This amber ale is dosed with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and fresh orange zest. It is well balanced with low hop flavor and nice hint of the spices in the finish. This spiced ale is not overbearing; rather it is smooth and very drinkable.

Really liked this one. If you like spicy beer, you’ll like it. On tap at Which Brew in Easton.

On draught at the brewery, poured a nice brown with little head. The aroma was very spicey, with sweet malt and cinnamon notes. The flavor was also very spice dominate, with malty notes and almost no hops. A good spiced beer and the spices don’t dominate.

So I know it’s way past christmas, but for some reason I felt in the holiday spirit to try this seasonal. Clear amber pour with minimal head. Tons of cinnamon and nutmeg aroma. A bit thin and water aftertaste, but it was very drinkable.

Fairly smooth - nice deep amber color. Notes of cinnamon and a few other mild spices are there. Slightly sweet and warming.

For a spice brew, it is surprisingly good. The spices aren’t too much, and it is quite drinkable. Perfect for the winter months.

On tap and Market Cross a while back: Nice deep ambver ale almost brown with a slight aroma of spice. Subdued flavor of ginger and maybe a hint of nutmeg but I couldt really detect much else. Nice maltiness covers everything nicely just to let some of the spice out. Good session ale for the fall.

Had this on draft at the brewpub in Camp Springs. Very nice. The commercial description is accurate. BTW the food was good at the pub and the service was stellar. Recommended.
