Pours a very cloudy and hazy straw colored body with a moderate fluffy head. Nose is spicy with lots of fruity esters, cloves, bananas, and a little yeast. Flavor is full of cloves and spicy wheat with some yeastiness on the finish. A little overspiced with the cloves. Mouthfeel is light and fizzy with lots of carbonation. Overall, pretty decent, but way too overspiced and not full enough in mouthfeel. desurfer (1069), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA

Typical aromas for this style. Flavor was sweet, malt, banana, clove, and spices. Typical again. Tingly mouthfeel. Light-medium body. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 10, 2005 This draft brew from the brewery poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized long lasting white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained no visible carbonation, was hazy and yellow brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild doughy malts. Its mouth feel is initially tingly and off with a lingering weird mellow palate and aftertaste. Its flavor was missing the banana and fruity notes typical of a hefe weizen. A below average brew.
