Commercial Description:
This India Pale Ale is an exciting beer with a floral in aroma and an incredible hop flavor. The maltiness is increased (over a regular pale ale) to help balance the aggressive hop usage. This contributes to the higher alcohol content as well.

Bottle. Pours an orange with a head that quickly dies down to a thin film of foam. Aromas are an enticing mix of hops... pine and grapefruit are the top draws. A little too much malt in the flavor for my tastes... but the crisp hops are nice, just not quite dominant enough.

Pours a clear, deep golden color with a tiny white head. Aroma is expectedly hoppy, a little grapefruit, as well. Easy drinkng, moderately hopped body, nice pine notes. Sharp, bitter finish. Good, standard IPA.

Draft at Gettysburg brewpub. Light grapefruit aroma. Light amber body, off-white head. Flavor is nicely bitter grapefruit, with a lengthy bitter finish.

VRBT. Medium orange. Aroma of piney hops. Flavor was straightforward matls backing pine accented hops. OK.

Bottle thanks to Daniel. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. The aroma is very nice, loads of citrus hops, sweet and floral. The taste is also very nice, hoppy and full flavored. Lots of citrus and a medium level of bitterness. Some pine and grapefruit notes also, a long bitter finish. Very clean and fresh tasting. Very nice. Underrated in my opinion.

Poured a slightly cloudy golden yellow color with a tall creamy white head that left a good bit of lacing. A very good floral/citrus aroma. An initial good crisp hoppy bite with a mild citrus flavor. The flavor rolled into a nice hop bitterness on the finish that built throughout the glass. Surprisingly good beer being that I got a 12 pk for $6.99.

Hoppy trails to you, Appallachian. Bitter, dull rather offensive pine needle flavor with lingering bitter grapefruit rind medicine. Nagging terrible soap. Aroma is same as flavor but more enjoyable and refreshing. Costly, $4 for a bottle, but nice label. On style, what else can be said? Borders on doppel IPA territory.

[1584-20080816] 355mL bottle. Peat mud aroma has light woodsy floral notes. Clear, light brown orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Woodsy hops and heavy yeast flavour. Medium-full body. Booooozy.
