Commercial Description:
This India Pale Ale is an exciting beer with a floral in aroma and an incredible hop flavor. The maltiness is increased (over a regular pale ale) to help balance the aggressive hop usage. This contributes to the higher alcohol content as well.

Pour a nice golden yellow color with a decent white head. Aroma is floral and hoppy with nice citrus notes. Flavor is some what hoppy with a nice grassy undertone. Over all not a bad brew.

Enjoyed at the Gettysburg Brewpub. Slightly hazy deep golden color. Shows a thin, spotty white head with minimal lacing. Fresh, crisp hop aromas are noted backed by some distant malt. Smells of lemon, grapefruit, spices and mild pine are all there. Palate was quite thin and a tad too flat. Flavor seemed to be all hops, no maltiness really perceived, therefore unbalanced. Lots of citrus, pine and spice noted in the taste. Could use a bit more sweetness and balance from the malts utilized.

Pours a lightly hazy golden orange amber with a medium off white head that left some lacing and sustained but was smaller. Aroma was more of a maltiness up front, some floral and citrus. But more malty up front than hoppy in the aroma. The flavor is where more of the hops come in. A decent hop bitterness balanced nicely by a caramel malt backbone. Flavors of pine and grapefruit.

Bottle from JCW. Poured copper color with a large off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration.

This was my first beer from this company. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale golden color with a small white head. The aroma is light grapefruity hops. The body is moderately thick. The flavor is sour nut, pine and light grapefruit.

draught at gettysburg: laking in aroma for an ipa... I think that I caught a little bit of malt. it looked amber color and did leave a nice lacing on the glass. flavor was dominantly earthy hops with some notes of pine and citrus with well balanced amount of malt. maybe a little watery for an ipa, no oily body here. did finish with good hop bite, and was clean.

Bottle shared with and courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear bubbly gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma of funky hops, some spices and malt -- nice! Flavour follows the aroma but is a little more subtle, it’s still tasty and refreshing though. Medium bodied. Pretty good, I enjoyed it.
