Commercial Description:
This India Pale Ale is an exciting beer with a floral in aroma and an incredible hop flavor. The maltiness is increased (over a regular pale ale) to help balance the aggressive hop usage. This contributes to the higher alcohol content as well.

Draft at the Gettysburg location, July 2006. A slightly hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel as well as a nice presence of grapefruit and light touches of grass. The grapefruit and grass lingers for a long time in the aftertaste.

clear gold, fine white head, solid lace, light citrus hop aroma with a hint of sweet crystal malt, creamy body, lots of hop flavor balanced with sweet crystal and caramel malts, light underlying bitterness for balance but allows the hop flavor be the dominant character, the creamy body and great hop flavor make this a great beer

Bottle: Transparent bright copper orange pour has a large, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel sugar and some mildly earthy piny hops. Starts lightly sweet and fairly full bodied with a decent grapefruity citrusy hop balance before a smooth, bittersweet finish. A decent and drinkable IPA.

Bottlke courtesy of doclock. Pours gold with a white foamy head. Smells citrussy with some doughy notes. Tastes earthy with a peppery element and some grape qualities.

Pint at the Gettysburg brewery. Filtered and clear honey amber color. Crisp and sweet honey pine hop flavors, oily and resiny on the tongue. Sweet honey and pine sap nose with some faint stewed grain aroma as well. Clean and simple, some vegetal celery notes in the finish at times, but nothing too big. Average IPA.
