smells sour and raisin-y with some caramel notes. looks like a watered down coke and tastes very watery too. dang it. and it’s from the home state. makes me sad

A slightly light amber pour. A light hint of sweet malt and raisins. A flavor maltiness and raisins. A thin but tasty light bitterness. A good beer I would like to try again and drink the whole 12oz.

A dark amber appearance with little head. A faint caramel aroma. I was worried my cold was preventing me from smelling this one. I was told by others present that it just had little aroma. Some cherries, raisins, fig, and nutmeg in the flavor. The body is way too light on this one. Eh its ok.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear garnet colored body under a very fizzy and quickly fading beige head. Aroma is slightly grainy and full of syrupy sweet maltiness. A light hint of coffee and toffee. Flavor is pretty one dimensional, all syrupy maltiness. A little grainy on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly sticky, and has moderate fizzy carbonation. Really not much to say about this one, a really simple and straightforward brew completely lacking in complexity.

Sampled at the brewfest in Adamstown. Pours copper\amber with a white head. Aroma of fruit, earth, and sweet malts. The flavor is sweet, fruit, and mild bitterness. Good beer.

not too bad darker than copper. malty biscuit creamyness but very light. good with the tangy pizza i was having though. but nothing to write home about

Clear, red-copper body with a loose, soapy off-white head. Aroma of fruity malt with cherry notes, plus green apple, sweet earthy tea and tobacco. Flavor is of medium sweet, caramelized malt, toasty grain, plum, and stale malt syrup. Long, lingering malt presence on the palate. A basic, straight-forward stab at a Scottish Ale. Doesn’t really come together for me.

Deep copper amber brew,good looking glass of beer. Nose was kind of acidic caramel. Not a bad brew,the caramel note was dominating as I thought this would be more acrid with the nose being so.
