Great caramel - butterscotch flavor and mouthfeel in this one. Great malty flavor that overpower the hops, but that’s ok for this hophead as the flavor is great. Good looking dark amber brew with a buttery sweet nose as well. Another good one from Appalachian! morehops (39), Pennsylvania, USA

Malt stood out more than the hops. Also had the regular stuff. It was pretty simple for my taste Homebrewerguy (285), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 5, 2005 Nice head and lacing throughout this beer. The caramel malt flavor is dominant with the hops creeping in the more you drink. This is an easy drinker and will fit the bill for someone looking for real malt flavor in their beer.
