12 oz bottle, an extra from beastiefan2k. Thanks man!!! A dark brown color with tan head. Cookie is the first thing I pull out of the aroma, with roasted mat, some mild pine hop, toffee. Flavor is very smoky, medium sweet malt, and only slightly fruity. Medium bodied and lightly carbed that quickly fades, leads to some creaminess. A very heavily malt based beer but with a lot going on.

12 oz bottle. Reddish brown copper in color with a little off white head. Sweet smoky caramel aroma. Smoky toffee flavor. Light hop presence. Finish is malty. Sweet. Medium bodied. Decent beer. Drinkable.

12 oz bottle. Hold the head nicely on top of a rich reddish, brown body. Flavor is sweet and lightly smoked with some toffee and caramel. I get some raisen and fig to sweet the pot a bit. Not cloying at all and the beer tastes a bit old, although not oxidized at all. Not too shabby.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for this gift. Deep brown colour with some light orange highlights and a sticky tan head. Nice sweet malty aroma, toast, caramel and a bit of treacle/molasses. Biscuit and toffee sweetness. Flavour shows toasted malts, biscuit malt and a bit of plumminess on the back. Lingering toastiness on the back. I like it.

Highly filtered, so very translucent. Barely a head around the sides of the glass. Mahogany in color. Very malty sweet aroma, filled with peat and brown sugar. The flavor is simply uncomplex and very thin. Not much in the way of flavor, really.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for the bottle - clear reddish brown beer that barely kicks up a head - fairly sweet aroma, with dried fruits and not much else going on - pretty soft mouthfell - not nearly as sweet as the aroma suggests - notes of brown sugar, raisins and molasses - lacking complexity, but tasty enough.

bottle. intense ruby red hue. caramel malts dominate the aroma, still musty and tight though. flavor is fairly one dimensional, but it’s a good flavor. hops are noticed as is the carbonation. slight mineral and honey notes on the finish. it’s an easy drinker. not bad, just unimpressive.
