Mar 10, 2009 Tasted at woody’s. Pours a dark amber with reddish highlights. Nice and malty nose and body. A little on the sweet side. Caramel flavors pervade. Decent for style I suppose.

Feb 26, 2009 Bottled Jun 08. Poured a hazy brown with a tan head that settles and left light lace. Aromas of honey, caramel and some fruits. The flavor had roasted malts, chocolate, honey and a hint of spice. Medium body and a roast malt aftertaste.

Jan 14, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a fading, lacing light tan head with a murky amber brown body. Smells of apples, caramel, honey, toffee. Tastes like a caramel apple. A little bready on the finish.

Dec 23, 2008 Amber pour with a thin off-white head. Malty grain aroma. Flavor is pure sweet malt with little discernible hops. Not a bad marzen.

Oct 22, 2008 Smells good. Taste is strong. Seems higher in alky than 5%. Looks like clear ice tea. Filtered. Good, about average carbonation. Other fests I’ve had have more refined manners. $3.50 a bottle. Comparitivily, a little expensive around here. I’m being generous on the flavor rating.

Sep 11, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a two finger off white head. Aroma of malt. Flavor was pretty much all malt. Decent beer, but I’ve had better within the style.
