May 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of illinismitty. Pours reddish copper with a thin white head. Smells vegetal with some tea hints. Tastes lightly tarte with a cherry like finish.

Apr 23, 2008 Bottle from Frugal McDugal in Nashville, TN. Pours deep amber with a light beige head. Aroma of sweet malts, bread, and roasted malts. Medium bodied and slightly thin texture wise. Flavor of caramel, toasted grains, berries, and some slight brown sugar. Bitterness is a bit muted on this one, but there is enough to keep it from getting off balance. Finish is sweet and slightly spicy, a slight lingering stickiness. Not too bad. I would prefer a bit more hops if I had it my way.

Feb 4, 2008 12 oz. bottle via trade with jasonmech77 - Pours a deep copper color with a one finger thick light tan head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is sweet toasted malt and spice. Flavor is toasted malt and light spice. Light to medium body. A decent beer. Thanks Jason.

Nov 30, 2007 On tap, Camp Hill location. Pours a clear dark copper, kinda unusually dark really. Small fizzy off-white head that retained as a thin film. The nose is all husky and toasted malt, with a grainy quality to it. Flavor is sweet malt up front with that slight huskiness. Light biterness and a touch of alcohol apparency on the finish. I don’t really get a whole lot of munich malt. Medium bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, not something that stands out among the O-fest crowd.

Nov 5, 2007 Dark color for a oktoberfest. Brown with yellowish foam. Smoky flavor. Tasted some bitterness. Maybe its been a while, but this does not feel like an oktoberfest. A decent beer, but not really of the style I was expecting. More like a old fashioned ale.

Oct 31, 2007 Bottle. Poured a nice dark red amber body with thin head. aroma had a nice biscuit, sweet malt scent. Flavor subtle, a little runny with a nice mouthfeel.

Oct 14, 2007 Has a darker pour close to a dark bronze. Had an aroma slightly of coffee and an almost smoky flavor to compliment the darker style of beer. Overall a great beer.
