Commercial Description:
The Dortmunder-Export style of beer was developed in Westfalen, Germany, and is a classic light lager with great character. This style boasts a light golden blonde color and exhibits a moderate hop palate. The finish of our Mountain Lager is rich yet mellow.

On tap at brewpub in gettysburg, had a clear light golden color. A good light lager that had a sweet yeasty finish.

Bottle: It pours just like a macro beer. Light pale golden with a fizzy head that remains for a little while and there is carbonation bubbling towards the top throughout. The aroma is rather light with some bannanas, yeast, dough, and alcohol. The taste is light, but not all that weak, although very basic. Its like a good helles and half water in one glass. Its not a great beer, but i f I lived in PA, I am sure there would plenty of long nights on this stuff, because its so easy to drink, and quite enjoyable with absolutly nothing to dislike about it.

I will echo what others have said... this beer lacks taste and is boring. Going through the sampler at the brewpub, ABC is now 0/2. This beer would appeal to the group that avoids microbreweries because they don’t serve Miller Lite. It tastes mass produced.

Tap at ABC brewpub. Very plainly lager. Some can taste. Pale straw color, sits a bit dead in the glass with just a lame circle of head bubbles. Bud-y. Zoigl lager beats this hands down, and should replace it as a year round available beer!

Sweet and hoppy, with more character than I usually expect from a Helles. Body is thin, and there’s a weird somewhat soapy aftertaste which kinda ruins it.

This bottled brew poured a small sized head of white colored foamy fine to medium sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a transparent light orange brown colored softly carbonated body and a poor lacing. The aroma was sweet mild malty and hoppy. The mouth feel was mildly tingly at the start and mellowed in the finish with a clean crisp medium thickness. The flavor was mild malt dough hop and thin.

Bottle. Small white fizzy head that quickly dissipated, poor lacing, fine-small sized bubbles, transparent, carbonated, and a yellow. What there was of an aroma and flavor was malty, bland, boring, uninteresting, and unimpressive. Very little to speak of with this brew. Mouthfeel was smooth, watery, thin, and somewhat dry. Light body.
