Commercial Description:
This Czechoslovakian style Pilsner is golden in color and hopped with a bunch of genuine Czechoslovakian Saaz hops. These hops provide a special floral aroma and a delightfully hoppy finish.

On draft at Capones. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and grassy hops. The flavor is bitter, citrus, and a little thin. Not a bad pilsner, but an easily forgettable brew.

Golden color with a small head and a light, grainy aroma. Flavor was a bit tart and cheap. Not really good at al.

An abomination of a beer. This does not resemble a czech pilsner. More of a coors lager.

Draft at Camp Hill. Pours a hazy golden with a white head, and moderate lacing. Very faint aroma of Saaz hops. Initial flavor is typical pilsne, followed by some lemon and sweet grains. Dry and bitter finish, almost straw like. Not too bad for the style, perhaps a little under rated here.

Had this at ABC’s Gettysburg bre pub. Has the taste of a pilsner, but it’s got some hops added to it. I’m not a big pilsner fan, but the hops in this brew does it for me

on tap-pours a white head that laces with gold/yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is sweet grain, nice mild biting hops. Good carbonation.

Pours a pale yellow color with a fizzy, white head. Aroma is grassy hops. Not a bad flavor. Mostly hops (fresh grass, pine needles) with some malts to smooth out the finish but still enough hops to overshadow the thin palate. It’s kind of odd how south east PA really has a grip on their Pils. Even a mediocre brewery like Appalacian can slide in a good pils on you.
