The flavor is bitter, citrus, and a little thin. Not a bad pilsner, but an easily forgettable brew. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Apr 20, 2007 An abomination of a beer. This does not resemble a czech pilsner. More of a coors lager. illinismitty (1810), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Draft at Camp Hill. Pours a hazy golden with a white head, and moderate lacing. Very faint aroma of Saaz hops. Initial flavor is typical pilsne, followed by some lemon and sweet grains. Dry and bitter finish, almost straw like. Not too bad for the style, perhaps a little under rated here. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2006 Had this at ABC’s Gettysburg bre pub. Has the taste of a pilsner, but it’s got some hops added to it. I’m not a big pilsner fan, but the hops in this brew does it for me jcwattsrugger (5583), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 22, 2006 on tap-pours a white head that laces with gold/yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is sweet grain, nice mild biting hops. Good carbonation. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 23, 2005 Pours a pale yellow color with a fizzy, white head. Aroma is grassy hops. Not a bad flavor. Mostly hops (fresh grass, pine needles) with some malts to smooth out the finish but still enough hops to overshadow the thin palate. It’s kind of odd how south east PA really has a grip on their Pils. Even a mediocre brewery like Appalacian can slide in a good pils on you.
