Nice light copper color with a slgith white head. Very smootha nd easy to drink. Good amount of hops but the flavor is well balanced with malt. I like prima better but i think this goes more towards the style- due to the slight mild malt characteristics. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 23, 2005 Pours a pale yellow color with a fizzy, white head. Aroma is grassy hops. Not a bad flavor. Mostly hops (fresh grass, pine needles) with some malts to smooth out the finish but still enough hops to overshadow the thin palate. It’s kind of odd how south east PA really has a grip on their Pils. Even a mediocre brewery like Appalacian can slide in a good pils on you. morehops (39), Pennsylvania, USA

Has the taste of a pilsner, but it’s got some hops added to it. I’m not a big pilsner fan, but the hops in this brew does it for me psuCE03 (122), York, Pennsylvania, USA

Slight hop bite at the finish - light aroma, copper color. Not a bad offering. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Draft at Camp Hill. Pours a hazy golden with a white head, and moderate lacing. Very faint aroma of Saaz hops. Initial flavor is typical pilsne, followed by some lemon and sweet grains. Dry and bitter finish, almost straw like. Not too bad for the style, perhaps a little under rated here.
