Very light notes of hops with some malts. Flavor has some hops, but not overbearing. I thought this was pretty decent, but other Pale Ales I have had are far more hoppy. However, for me I didn’t mind the diminished hops in this case, but I get the "watery" opinios of other reviewers. 4 of 6 from Kramer17801. biznizness (952), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 27, 2006 This beer shares the same problem as almost every ABC brew I’ve had so far. It needs to be kicked up a notch. It does not light my fire, or anyone else’s fire. It is a vanilla example of the style and lacks in body and flavor. At this point in my sampler I am disappointed after going 1-for-3 with the one hit just barely making the cut. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 15, 2006 Poured a clear amber/yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is very subtle with the smallest hint of pine. The flavor is somewhat piney with a little carmel. The mothfeel is reminicant to a glass of water I had earlier. | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 11, 2006 Bottle. Nah. Lagery, adjunct flavor. Cloying corn. Sweet, one-note, nothing to it, annoying. No thanks. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA

Aroam is muted sweet caramel malt. Flavor all caramel malt again, with very little hop bitterness detectable. Very one-dimensional. desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Oct 16, 2005 Hops! This beer has piney hops abound, mingling with some grapefruit notes as well. Body is somewhat thin, but not detracting at all. Made for a great campfire quaffer. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 23, 2005 This bottled brew born in July of 2005 poured a small sized head of light brown colored mostly lasting foamy finely sized bubbles that left behind a transparent carbonated copper brown colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was that of dirty dish rags with a malt hop base. The mouth feel was tingly with a mild hoppy palate that mellowed in the finish. The flavor was slightly hopped and was missing the caramel I was looking for. hotstuff (3176), Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 10/20 | Aug 25, 2005 Bottle. Poured a small ivory head that mostly diminished, fine sized bubbles, next to no lacing, transparent, carbonated, and an orange hue. Malty and hoppy aroma. Semi-sweet, malty and hoppy flavor. Nothing really grabbed my attention with this brew. Tingly, hoppy mouthfeel. Light body.
