Commercial Description:
Our light copper pale ale has a delicate malt attribute balanced by an aggressive hop flavor and aroma. Many American micros have developed their own version of this classic English style beer. Our brewers anticipate that you will enjoy their variation.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a very thin white head. Aroma of flowery hops and slight caramel. Flavor was malty with a slight citrus note. Very thin and harsh.

draft @ gettysburg... pale amber brown color topped by a thin white head and drippy lacing. aromas of caramel-y malty grain and floral generic hops. it smells lightly bitter but quite faint. the flavor is caramel, grain, honey, light citrus and a touch sweet. mildly bitter herbal hoppy finish. medium body with lively carbonation.

This American Pale Ale pours a medium copper amber color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, toast and a touch of hops. A light to medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel, toffee and a touch bready. The hops are a little mild for an APA, a touch grapefruity and citrusy. Decent carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

(abbreviated review, due to short notes) Light hop, thin on the taste with a light flowery nose. Nothing spectacular.

Bottled Jun 07. Poured copper in color with a fizzy, off-white head that settled quickly. Sweet malts in the aroma with light hints of floral. The flavor is also sweet with caramel and honey. Medium body and lively carbonation. A little sweet all around for an APA. (Rating from Sept ’07)

Bottle: Pours a transparent deep copper bronze with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of grainy toasty caramel malt but not much hoppy presence, then again this bottle is just over half a year old. Body starts about average for the style with a mild sweetness, some toasty character and a touch of grapefruity flavor in the crisp, drier finish. A decent APA, but needs more assertive hop character.

This is a pretty good run or the mill pale ale. Nothing too spectacular but nothing bad either.

Clear amber body with a tiny off-white head. The nose is lightly sweet with caramel and bread. The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter with citrus, caramel, tea and honey. Medium body is rough with sparkling, moderate carbonation.
