Commercial Description:
Our light copper pale ale has a delicate malt attribute balanced by an aggressive hop flavor and aroma. Many American micros have developed their own version of this classic English style beer. Our brewers anticipate that you will enjoy their variation.

This is an ale that I recommend for the newcomer of ales. Very smooth for an ale. Mild bitterness, not the IPA I am used to. Almost taste a caramel flavour...something on the sweet side. It is very well worth the try...I will get it again.

this was decent yet very average beer. Had it at a beerfest over the weekend. I wouldn’t look for this beer, but would drink it if it were free.

From the bottle at the Bocktown. Rather hoppy aroma. Fruity hops, you can tell from the nose it’s gonna have a hop impact. Ubiquitous color and appearance. Below average carbonation. Medium hop bitterness on the palate. Drinkable for a hopped brew. Not excessively bitter, but does have that ale personality.

Cask pint. Wet, oily, somewhat fresh pine hops, reminds me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale a lot. CO2 it’s a little more bready, more average, but cask it’s somewhat improved. Fresh and moderately lively on the tongue, wet and oily with a greenish wet-hop pine sap note. A decent pale ale, but Appalachain always has something new on that I don’t end up drinking this that often. When in doubt I usually go for their IPA.

A decent pale ale. Arom was pretty good. Nice hoppiness with grass and a bit of malt. Pour was a medium gold with a one finger white head. Taste was a nice citrus hop with a good bit (but not enough) malt to keep it interesting. Nice hop bite in the back of the throat and through the aftertaste.

Tap...pours a translucent amber with a smaller bubbly off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of floral hops, some caramel. Flavor of hops, mixed citrus, decent hop bitterness, nuts and caramel.

On cask in Gettysburg. Decent but somewhat weak aroma of hops. Pour was hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Taste was lightly bitter with some fruit present. Mouthfeel was good, due to cask conditioning. Overall, a good hop forward APA.

Cash @ Market Cross, Shippensburg: Aroma was very frust of hops and some ale fruitiness. Hops were slightly citrussy. Very reminicent of well hopped bitter, accept the hops were slightly more resiny. Served at perfect temperature and in good condition. Came off the hand pump with half an inch of creamy head (sparkler) and a beautiful tawny color in between gold and amber. Really a beauitul looking beer. Mouthfeel was amazing because of the cask conditioning, medium body and just filled the mouth with flavor. This was an excellent pale on cask, I guess I’ll need to compare it sometime to see why it is such a low rated beer. On cask though, its excellent. Its one of those beers I had to go back and have another of right away at the pub
