Cask Stillage at the Memorial Hall, Northwich Beer Festival 21/09/2007 Some roast aroma. Small white head. Mid brown dark coloured with some citrus flavour. A little dryness in a crisp hoppy bitter roast finish.

Cask (Peterborough BF 2007) Fairly malty - sweet and some some honey. Some bitterness too, but certainly sessionable.

Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Mahogany colour. Toasty, burnt and aggresively resiny. Light bodied, but really intense. All that flavour in this tiny body makes it highly controversial, and the bitterness is almost punishing.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Peterboro BF. A dark amber coloured beer. The aroma has nice hops and good fruity malts. A really nice nose in fact. The taste has good bitterness amongst some nice fruity malts again. Nice one.

Cask@London Drinker 07. Well, thank god for this beer, as we’d seemed to have had a bad run of beers at this festival. This saved it somewhat. Lots of toasty crystal malt notes, with slight touches of berry fruit, and earthy, leafy, lightly citric hops in the finish. Very classy bitter. Nice.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Mahogany with tan head. Dark, traditional type bitter, full of flavour, but easy drinking because it is silky smooth. Hops and a dark roasted malt giving a little roasted coffee note. A really good beer.

Cask handpull at London Drinker BF 07. Chestnut colour, some haze. Bubbly beige head. Oddish green apple aroma. Not ready yet. Will be a good session bitter in say 12 hours time. Very malty too, some coffee.
