Aroma is citrus and grapefruit with sweeter caramel and pine. Flavor is nice citrus bitterness, caramel, pine and spice, tasty and dry but pretty straight forward. Medium to light with active carbontion. Almost like a lighter fresh barleywine. I can dig it. BeerBaron617 (306), Novi, Michigan, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 19/20 | May 2, 2009 I had this on tap at the brewery. This is my first time adding a beer, I can’t believe it wasn’t on here! Anyways, It’s always been kind of hit or miss in my experiences with ABC, but this one was DEFINITELY on! A beautiful bouquet of hops, which led me to think that is was going to overpowering, but it wasn’t at all. The flavor was dead on, and perfectly balanced. I’m not sure if they’re bottling this or not, so if your in Ann Arbor, you should stop in for a pint. Cheers!
