Commercial Description:
This traditional Hefeweizen is light bodied, gold and cloudy in appearance, with banana and clove in the nose. A clean citrus finish makes this the perfect spring/summer time beer.

Cloufy golden yellow with next to no head. Aroma of grains, grassy hops, apples and mild skunk. Not what I’d expect out of a hefe. Taste of yeast, lemon and mild sourness. Bliss, I don’t think so.

12oz bottle. Ranked 4th out of 4 in my blind Hefe tasting [3rd Sam Adams, 2nd Stoudts Heifer-in-Wheat, 1st Victory Sunrise]. Pours a fairly ugly murky orange peach color with basically no head except a little bubbly fizz. Aroma of crackers, sweet, phenolic, honey-like, very light banana, something tart and slightly sour, a hint of vinegar. Flavor stale crackers, some sharp honey-like medium sweetness, dull flavors, light infection, seems like some stale hops as well. Tastes like dirty wheat water. Basically no carbonation, medium bodied with a dull heavy water feeling, yucky. Easily identified this beer as the Arbor as it shares characteristics with their other bottle offerings... dull, low carbonation, and infected.

On tap at the brewery in ann arbor. Murky orange amber with small white head. Aroma is pure hefeweizen with banana, clove and medium sweet wheat. Flavor is sweeter wheat, banana, slight chalk. Medium to light highly carbontedbody. Perfect to style and really refreshing.

12oz bottle 7/12/09 (Siciliano’s Market-Grand Rapids)-Pours a hazy yellowish golden with a big white head. Aroma of wheat and light clove. Taste of citrus, grass, and wheat. This light bodied brew has no Hefe tastes or smells. Pretty weak attempt at a Hefe.

Bottle. A a hazy off yellow color pour with a thin foamy white head, slight lacing left, light carbonation. Aroma of wheat, light clove and bananna. Flavor is somewhat watered down, very light, some wheat malt a little yeastyness, light clove and bananna, oily mouthfeel, light body, undercarbonated , sessionable , a very light spice in the finish, lightly sweet , an odd brew , sort of misses the mark, nothing offensive but lacking in many areas for me to buy again .

12 ounce bottle from mibirder. Thanks! Pours a very inappropriate crystal clear orange color with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. There was some yeast hiding in the bottle that did not come out on the initial pour, giving the beer a sight haze. Aroma is bread and caramel apples. Taste is bread, citrus, apple and light spice. Lightly tart finish. Thin bodied. Lightweight overall.
