Nose of syrupy honey malt, wet wheat, weird banana and oranges. Slick, wet, medium to heavy body for the style, but not thick. Light banana and lemon flavors throughout, but somewhat detached and seemingly artificial tasting… nothing special. ryan (1779), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

Nose is banana, some bretty cherry (out of place, but nice!), light pils malt. Flavor is banana, light tartness. Clean pils malt comes out towards the finish w. hints of bubblegum and clove. Could stand to be higher carbonated. a2forten (4), Michigan, USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | May 26, 2008 Lovely beer with hints of spice, lemon, and banana. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 23, 2008 Bottle. Label is slightly different (blue with the name as "Bliss Hefe... a bavarian style...") Pour is a dirty gold with a very minimal head that has already fled the scene as I begin typing. Aromas are strange, indeed. Lemon, cardboard, stale smoke, leather, banana and cloves. Every whiff brings out something different. Flavor is much the same. Kind of a swirling funkadelic beer thing with all kinds of unpredictable characters prancing around on stage. Still, I kind of like it. CharlesDarwin (1848), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 9, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy gold. No head. Light lemon sugar nose. Ugh, this beer is a mess. There’s lemon sugars, grains, esters, phenols, bubblegum and excess sugar all over the place. Sloppy. It’s got a tangible lactic tangle that in this form, combined with the oily wheat and stinging banana is just too much to handle. Heavy and wet. Ends in a bit of grass. This is not good.
