Apr 19, 2007 Sample at the brewpub: Pours a somewhat opaque yellow color with virtually no head or lacing. The aroma is wheaty and fruity. Light body with banana and wheat flavors up front, followed by mild hops and spice. The finish is fruity and soft, and does not leave much aftertaste. Slightly above average all around.

Apr 13, 2007 Bottle: Lots of banana in the aroma with clove with some hints of bubblegum and tart citrus notes. Pours a dull cloudy orangish-yellow with a small white head the dies quickly to a thin film. The flavor starts with moderate amounts of banana with a light citrus kick. The finish has lots of bubblegum, moderate clove, and a touch of flowery bitters. The beer is somewhat light bodied but still manages an oily texture which is rather odd for a hefe. Decent and I wouldn’t have a problem drinking it again, but I’d probably look for a better hefe first.

Jan 2, 2007 Pours a hazy yellow color with no head. Decent aroma and flavor of bananas and bubble gum. The body is light with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A decent, refreshing hefeweizen.

Dec 3, 2006 Hazy golden brown. Thin head. Wheat aroma. Slightly bitter aftertaste with a smooth wheat and fruity beginning. I would agree with bready. Not a bad beer.

Jul 14, 2006 On tap at the brewpub on 4/27/06: Hazy golden brown pour has a thin white head. Fruity, tart, bitter grapefruit citrus aroma has lots of yeasty coriander and clove spice. Starts lightly sweet, bready and yeasty with good authenticity, but perhaps a little too much citrus and clove character.

Jun 5, 2006 The body was gold and cloudy. The aroma was lots of banana with some peaches. There was a hint of clove in the finish. The taste was lots of banana with some clove. There was some spice in the finish. I was not a fan of this one.

May 6, 2006 On tap at the Arbor Brew Pub. Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of cloves, wheat, spicy, and lemons. Tastes of bananas, wheat, and lemons.
