Golden-amber body with a glittering surface. Fresh fruity smell. Orange shells in flavour added by sweet malts and a dry hopped tail. Rounded mouthfeel. Refreshing. Gravicask, sampled at GBBF 06.08.2009.

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2009) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus (grapefruit, lemon) and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with lemon, grapefruit, grass and a generous bitterness in the finish. Solid malt to balance. Medium body, some caramel sweetness. Nice and tasty.

Cask@GBBF2009. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, fruits, some mild floral notes as well as sweet maltyness. Flavour is quite much the same in a rather sweet way.

Cask@GBBF. Clear yellow color, small white head. Odd nose: mix of herbs and sugar. Pale malty watery, sweet malty. Crisp lemony hoppyness in the finish and aftertaste. A bit bland.

Cask conditioned at The Royal Oak, Bath. Pale gold with white head. Quite a wheaty note initially with a slight farmy character, dry with a hint of sulpher then a return to the wheatiness with a perfumed finish. Reasonable.

Cask@Loughborough Beer Festival 2009. Amber coloured beer with a plainly toffee and caramel aroma. The flavour is toffee , hopped and mildly caramel. Overall a nice gentle beer.

A fantastic ale that is in keeping with the great tradition of Bristol brewing. It has a very surprising taste that is both unique and refreshing, I commend Arbor’s Beech Blonde highly. Five stars.
