Smiler (1), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England does not count Jul 28, 2008 A fantastic ale that is in keeping with the great tradition of Bristol brewing. It has a very surprising taste that is both unique and refreshing, I commend Arbor’s Beech Blonde highly. Five stars. downender (1616), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Feb 23, 2008 On gravity at the Old Tavern, Bristol 23/2/08. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of sweet malt with a slightly roasted edge, typical of Arbor beers. Flavour was also sweet with some earthy hops and a biter finish. Good, but tasted more like a strong bitter than a golden ale.
