Clear yellow color, small white head. Odd nose: mix of herbs and sugar. Pale malty watery, sweet malty. Crisp lemony hoppyness in the finish and aftertaste. A bit bland. imdownthepub (5087), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jun 20, 2009 Cask conditioned at The Royal Oak, Bath. Pale gold with white head. Quite a wheaty note initially with a slight farmy character, dry with a hint of sulpher then a return to the wheatiness with a perfumed finish. Reasonable. Smiler (1), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England does not count Jul 28, 2008 A fantastic ale that is in keeping with the great tradition of Bristol brewing. It has a very surprising taste that is both unique and refreshing, I commend Arbor’s Beech Blonde highly. Five stars.
