UnsofistaCat (206), Garden City, Michigan, USA Nov 11, 2006 This was a little boring. I got that right from looking at it in the pint glass, very flat and lifeless. I actually thought it was a little too hoppy. Kind of tastes like my own homebrew, which, for the most part, isn’t a god thing.
notalush (2009), Rawn-kawn-kohma, New York, USA Jun 10, 2008 I never thought I’d be excited to try a mild, but so few people make them - much like their bitter, this is very authentically british - clear golden - aroma of bready malt, light fruity character, faint hops - light mineral character in the flavor - nice and easy drinking, with a mild bitterness, and bready character on the back end - milds get no love. dsm (109), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Dec 9, 2007 sample at brewpub. It is fruity and smooth with a crisp and bitter finish. The palate is mild and subtle, and intriguing enough to want to drink more. This one is underrated. patrick767 (1396), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 30, 2007 tap at brewpub - So mild ales aren’t supposed to have noticeable hops? That’s not the case here. This beer pours gold with some nice lacing. It has a light malt and hop aroma and light hops lead the flavor. It’s a little thin and watery, but not bad and at such low abv, one could drink it all night and stay pretty sober. frankenkitty (1789), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jul 1, 2007 Light golden, mostly headless with a light haze. Weak aroma of mild hops and little more. Off-flavor with mild nuttiness under Lemon Pledge. Sub-par.

Sammy (3023), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 26, 2007 Very sessionable at 3.5% and still aroma and taste, but skip it for the pils. Aroma was both hoppy and malty. Orangey with a little white head, with lace. Bitterness and a bit of fruit, metallic finish. A light mouthfeel and prickly active carbonation. Perhaps the weakest in their lineup
