I never thought I’d be excited to try a mild, but so few people make them - much like their bitter, this is very authentically british - clear golden - aroma of bready malt, light fruity character, faint hops - light mineral character in the flavor - nice and easy drinking, with a mild bitterness, and bready character on the back end - milds get no love.

Blond or Kolschish hoppiness - I beg to differ, completely, with the assembled judgments here. This is a mild, but well crafted, fresh. Super cloudy chill haze plus unfiltered, I'm guessing. Creamy lingering head. Fresh fruitiness. Flavorful with a touch of late bitterness. Very refreshing.

sample at brewpub. It is fruity and smooth with a crisp and bitter finish. The palate is mild and subtle, and intriguing enough to want to drink more. This one is underrated.

Cloudy amber pour with a ring of white lace. Solid aroma of citrusy hops and caramel. Good and well-balanced flavor of citrusy hops and caramel. The body is full with an oily texture and soft carbonation. This feels more like an APA than a mild but what the heck, it’s good.

The body was medium yellow. The aroma was oranges with a hint of tea. The body was smooth and light. The taste was light apple with some caramel. This is a good version of a style I woudl like to see more often.

From 10-Beer Flight at Arbor Brewing Company Brewpub on December 1, 2008. Light, citrus aroma. Light-bodied, bittersweet, subtle fruit flavor. Has a hay/grass flavor to it. Very good and interesting recipe for a light beer.

An orange-yellow pour, with no head. Light orange and cascade arom. Very light and very watery. Light bitter flavor, with light resin. Palate is light grassyness. Finish is sweet and a little puckery. Drinkable.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy blonde, no real head...honey-sweet, grassy nose...buttery/biscuity sweet initial flavor, bit of apple, dry earthy hoppiness late. Fairly solid.
