Commercial Description:
This strong specialty stout is cellar aged for at least 6 months. It is smooth, creamy, and complex with a mellow roasted coffee bitterness on the palate well-balanced by a semi-sweet chocolate finish. Full body and rich mouthfeel without the bitterness of the Irish stouts.

On tap at Arbor. Poured a dark brown. Aroma was chocolate, malt and a hint of coffee. Flavor was more of the same, with a sweet caramel touch. A very good stout.

Tap: Black, hand pulled, no carbination. Grand aroma of sweet chocolate, malty coffee and toffe. Goes down incredibly smooth for this stout. Very well balanced, extremely drinkable with good mouth feel. One of the best stouts I’ve had to date.

pleasant semi-sweet chocolate aroma, black with a hint of brown underneath a thin head, slight cappucino intially with some smoky chocolate, medium body but full flavored

Tap: Yeah, no real head, a little thin compared to the two other new stouts ABC is offering up. A little bit of coffee, slightly vinous mouthfeel. Had a little tang to it that hit me in the salivary glands.

Tap: Lack with decent head. Coffe up front. Coffee with chocolate undertones. Bitter finish. Was decent but I am not a true stout fan only because I can’t stand coffee.

On tap: Nice mocha coffee aroma. Light cream. Dark brown, virtually black with a big off-white head. Decent retention. Nice lacing. Good coffee flavor. Light chocolate. Finishes bitter black coffee. Lightly salty.

This is just plain luxurious. It's a milk stout without any lactose (! for vegans!) - it has all the usual suspects, coffee in medium measure, roast somewhat less than that, some chocolate, some (apparently non-)lactic sourness. I was not expecting much, yet this is more full bodied than some - perfect body. Great experience.

Rich brown in color -- if held to a bright light. Plenty of java in the aroma with some chocolate tones. soft mouth feel and touch under-bodied. This is slightly above average sweet stout.
