Commercial Description:
Gorgeous copper-orange ale. Rich, enticing aroma of oranges and lemongrass. Crisp and refreshing on the palate. A perfect blend of malt, spice and sweet & zesty hints of citrus. Nestled between beer-loving Germany and wine-loving France, for centuries Belgium has produced some of the most interesting, complex, sophisticated, and delicious styles the beer world has to offer. Brasserie Blonde pays homage to this grand tradition. We brew the Blonde with a unique blend of rich malts, sweet orange peel, spicy hops, and zesty coriander. The result is a medium-bodied ale bursting with flavor. This is truly a beer-lover’s champagne (or a champagne-lover’s beer!). It is a dry, slightly tart ale subtly spiced with orange peel and coriander for a zesty taste with hints of sweet and tangy citrus.

Poured an orange color in the glass. Aroma was orange rind, coriander and other spices. Taste was sweet malt, musty, hint of orange and coriander with quite a bit of spice and belgian sweetness. A touch cloying overall.

Bottle. Goodbar Beer Club. One of the best beers I’ve ever had @ Beer Club. Nose is lemon, yeast, blueberry, flowers. Flavor is yeast, light spice, coriander, lemon, pils malt. Very nice!

I bought this hoping for a dry cold beer to drink in the summer by my grill. I ended up with nasty ass homebrew. Butterscotch popcorn. Diacetyl and bad bacon grease. Funky farm yard pig water. Despite all of this, I think I’ve had worse beer. Do I slightly like funky farm yard pig water? rerate: damn this is sour. drain pour.

At the corner brewery. Clear red-amber color with a sweetish, fruity aroma. My friends look at me a bit funny but I swear I can detect the aroma of pink bubblegum in there. Flavor is basically the same, with maltiness and a lightly bitter finish. Thinnish mouthfeel - some more body would not go amiss. Decent for a light-drinking beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden amber with a thin head that quickly diminishes to a thin film.

The aroma is big butterscotch and some sour apples.

The flavor is the same as the aroma - butterscotch and some caramel and sour apples with a dry finish. The mouthfeel is thin and watery.

Overall, it’s not terrible, but it is rather strange. I kind of wonder if this was a bad bottle or if it was meant to be like this.

Bottle: Pours amber with a fizzy head. Aroma and flavor of fruits. Not great, but drinkable.

Poured a medium yellow in color with a medium head which dispersed quickly. Smelled nothing out of the ordinary. Its taste followed the smell and was a pretty ordinary blonde. This beer was average all around. It was quite drinkable, but taste-wise it doesn’t quite take you to flavor-country.

Bottle: Fruity flavour, hint of citrus? dry aftertaste. Medium body, nice aroma, not overly powerful.
