really glad I got to try this, shared by notalush, thanks Brandon. Its a weird beer and I understand why JoeMcPhee did not like it. I took the rest of his glass and as I kept drinking it the better it got. Cloudy orange color with almost no head. Aroma is sour tangerine, some paint thinner and orage slices. Taste is lightly sour with faint vinegar. Its like orange-vinegar with light acidity. Its not super sour or anything and got more sour as I got some of the end of the bottle. It came out a bit crappy but as it breathed the craziness into a nice fruit sour with acidity.
750mL 2006 bottle, Maredsous chalice.

Orange-golden beer. Fairly sour aroma with lots of lemon and a fairly solventy character. Slightly grassy and herbal. Seems to be quite rancid and it doesn’t go down very easily. Meh.

2006 bottle - cloudy golden beer - semi-tart and acidic aroma, with mild funk, yogurt, some citrus fruit - very acidic up front, and through most of the flavor, actually - the acidity overpowers a lot of the other character - bone dry throughout - some citrus and pear are apparent, as well as a moderate funkiness that comes through mostly in the finish - once the palate adjusts, the acidity is more bearable, and the earthy, funky character is more easy to appreciate - a decent sour ale.

Bottled. Poured a hazy dark amber. The aroma was slightly tart with apples and sweat. There was also a floral notes. The taste was very sour with lemons and massive dandelions. There was also some sweat. Not balanced, but this was made for a sourhead.

750ml bottle shared by iowaherkeye. Thanks Joey. Poured a cloudy medium orange color with a dirty water tint. Head was white and left some lace behind. Aroma was of light white wine vinegar, sour apple, and subdued cereal grain. There was also an occasional whiff of cinnamon. Pretty acidic on the tongue (about 6 out of 10) and effervescent. I tasted sour fruits, cider vinegar, and some distinct cherry in the finish. Pretty good stuff. I didn’t get any of the coriander in the nose or flavor.

Draft at HopCat. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate orange citrus and coriander aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium spicy sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Complex drinkable brew.

Thanks to Michael for this one. Hazy dark gold body. Aroma of fruit, sweet, and slightly sour. Flavor is sour, also shows some strawberry.
