Bottle. Body-dark gold with a thin film of bubbles, medium ring of bubbles. Nose-light funk, sour, vinous, almost bretty, lightly geuze like. Taste-light white grape, chardonnay, light funk/brett, medium CO2, champagne, surprisingly sweet, light vinegar. Excellent. Very nicely done. Good balance of sour and sweet.

Sweet ‘n peachy aroma with a musty ending. Really nice. Dark honey color and cloudy in the glass with a medium white head. Lots of floaters and sinkers. Evidence that many yeasties gave their all to make this beer. Frothy in the mouth, but not crisp. Slightly syrupy. Very enjoyable ale. This is what an ale should be from a small local brewer. Something different that you can’t get anywhere else. Sweet and tasty, but not too filling. Watch out for the nasties at the bottom of the glass.

Poured a hazy yellow amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of green grapes, citrus fruits, yeast, funky barnyard, and light brett. Taste was slightly tart, with yeast, citrus, light coriander, white pepper, and moderate carbonation.

really glad I got to try this, shared by notalush, thanks Brandon. Its a weird beer and I understand why JoeMcPhee did not like it. I took the rest of his glass and as I kept drinking it the better it got. Cloudy orange color with almost no head. Aroma is sour tangerine, some paint thinner and orage slices. Taste is lightly sour with faint vinegar. Its like orange-vinegar with light acidity. Its not super sour or anything and got more sour as I got some of the end of the bottle. It came out a bit crappy but as it breathed the craziness into a nice fruit sour with acidity.

Nov., 2003 release: Clear rufous. Blustery carbonation produces mountainous white foam, causing it to protrude from the glass. Uplifting nose of perfume, wet hay, fresh baked bread, and lemon verbena. Dried herbs, plastery yeast undertones. Peach esters and white pepper remain buried beneath the heavy airiness. Feathery spritz, fully expansive carbonation. Notably airy, yet substantially malty and husky, which assists in retaining the body. Highly appetizing with a hop leaf, sharp mineral onset, reinforcing the dryness. Grainy apple texture with a dash of acidity. Toasty, doughy malt blanket cushions the sharpness, chased with buttered caramel and sweet malt. Persistent perfume and mineral exertions are underpinned by a matchstick phenol. Minerals continue to bolster the chalky dryness, which shortens the pound cake, hop leaf-tinged finish. Immensely appetizing and brimming with subtlety. Another solid one.

Goodbar beer club. Nose is lemon candy, grass, orange, light caramel, peach, maybe some spice. Flavor is really quite shocking. Lemon, orange, earthy malt, orange, iced tea. Sweet lemon/orange candy finish. Wonderful!

(750ml bottle, 2006 vintage) Pours a cloudy golden orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of barnyard, pineapple, melon, apricot, mustiness, and balsamic vinegar. Flavor of sourness, oak, fruit, and apple cider vinegar with a dry finish. Nice!
