Commercial Description:
ADurst german Pale and Crystal malts and 35% rye, with Mt. Hood hops, gives a medium bodied favorite. It has a fruity, flavorful, easy drinking character much tamer than its ABV.

On tap at the brewpub on 4/27/06: Pours a clear copper bronze with a thin ring of white head. Sweet caramel malty aroma has a touch of noble hops. Starts with a sweet viscous caramel maltiness balanced with some German malts turning more bitter toward the finish. Has lots of citrusy hops throughout, but is perhaps a bit too sweet.

On tap at the Arbor Brew Pub. Poured a medium orange color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of very light rye, caramel, and toffee. Tastes of pretty much the same with a light fruitiness to it.

Draft @ Arbor Brewing: Slightly hazed amber color with a small off-white head. The aroma was sweet with toffee scented malt. Malty flavor with light sweetness. Caramel and malty to the finish. Mild bite at the end. Very light citrus.

Very clear orange amber. No head. Little to no aroma. Flavor is a very sweet sugar, orange and nutmeg. Peculiar grainy fruit. Almost belgian. A light hint of alcohol. Finishes sticky.

Clear, magnifying pale copper in color with a tiny, bubbly white wrung for the head. Reds rye sweetness in the nose, along with caramel, amaretto flavored toffee, cherry cream and sweet, rosy hop bouquets. Flavor sweetness overrides rye extremities. Bready, sweet graham crust. Amaretto and red rye titillations move into a syrupy hazelnut coffee syrup formation. Sweet palate entry and semi-subtle exit. Toned carbonation, finishing with cherry nougats to cover the rye. Enjoyable stuff.

Tap at abc: Dark medium amber head that dissipated quickly. For this beers abv it goes down well. Much more fruit than I expected for a rye, although complemented it nicely. Medium bodied, quite thick but pleasureable. A decent brew from abc.

Draft at Arbor Brewing. Hazy amber with a medium head that diminished quickly. Medium balanced aroma with sweet tone. Medium body. Medium flavor with a medium sweet fruity finish. Tasted more like a fruit beer.

Pitcher at ABC tasting. Light red amber with white film for head. Sweet malt through and through with no rye present. Very sickly sweet, sugary, sticky, heavy. All of the above.
