The body was medium gold colored. The aroma was toffee and grapefruit. The taste was grapefruit and toast. There was also some almonds in this hoppy bitter. The body was smooth with low carbonation. Good stuff.

On tap at the Arbor Brew Pub. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of floral, citrus and somewhat leafy. Tastes of floral, lightly spicy, and light caramel. Thinner body. Medium bitter finish.

Draft @ Arbor Brewing: Hazy golden-yellow color with a small off-white head. Big hoppy aroma with floral and citrus notes. The hops covered up much of the caramel malt. The flavor had a malty start and some earthy hop. Kind of bland though. Long dry bitter finish. I was let down after such a nice aroma.

Translucent vanilla-orange in color and motionless, void of any activity whatsoever. Spray starch and new jeans start the aroma, followed up by shaved lemon husks that have been left in a corner and degrading for some time. Floral hop bite tingles with a flavor that has lemon squeezes plateau on the outskirts. Some crescent roll character traits as well. Gentle and smooth on the palate, seemingly lacking carbonation. Finishes with bitterness and hard rolls, and this ensconcing bitterness lasts for a while.

Slight hop nose. Low head retention. This lightly cloudy brew is smooth and mild and makes for a great sipping beer. The hops have a good supporting note and do not overpower the malt. The beer has a great mouth feel and has a slight hazlenut flavor.

Brewpub: Golden somewhat hazy, small white head that dissapeared rather quickly. Nose is somewhat complex with grapefruit, grainy, floral, citruss. Moutfeel is medium to light, plenty of hops, nicely pulled together.

Grapefruit-orange hop nose. Hazy yellow gold with low white head that diminishes to lasting cover and coats the glass. Assertive grapefruit hop flavour is tart with low underlying dry malt and grainy character. Bitterness lasts in the aftertaste. Soapy, floral and citrus hops are evident throughout. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. A very hop forward American interpretation of the style that could perhaps use a touch more malt character. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
