Bready, lemon-cream nose...solid fruity-tart flavor, lasting subtle bitterness throughout, some late woody character. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA

Diminished head, yet lots of clearish lacing - weird. A great fruity nose of a touch of citrus and some pear/apple. Some soft hop bitterness in the nose. Malt is great for such a super low alch. beer - tremendous and actually quite complex. jazz88 (2236), San Francisco, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2001 After a week of sampling Octoberfests it was nice to feel the full floral ferocity of a well hopped beer. There’s even a hint of something behind the hops and a bit of citrus on finish, but these attributes are just too small.
