tourette (186), San Francisco, California, USA Oct 13, 2001 Another great one by Ann Arbor Brewing Company. This packs plenty of taste for having so little alcohol. Schroppfy (1810), Ohio, USA Jul 19, 2003 On tap @ Arbor Brewing Co. Whoa! Darkish orange, hints of yellow. Diminished head, yet lots of clearish lacing - weird. A great fruity nose of a touch of citrus and some pear/apple. Some soft hop bitterness in the nose. Malt is great for such a super low alch. beer - tremendous and actually quite complex. unclebleen (620), California, USA Feb 15, 2005 wow, this is my first of this style and i liked it lots. pours a light amber color. aroma and flavor are somewhat generic but i don’t mean in a bad way. some malt, some hops in some ways the essecence of beer. anyway, i could drink this all the time...i’d like a keg of this for the summer. jeffc666 (1886), Fairfax, Virginia, USA Feb 13, 2005 Cloudy golden-amber with a small white head. Lightly grainy, light lemony citrus. The flavor matches the aroma well, very balanced and very quaffable. Pretty damn nice bitter if you ask me. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jun 5, 2006 The body was medium gold colored. The aroma was toffee and grapefruit. The taste was grapefruit and toast. There was also some almonds in this hoppy bitter. The body was smooth with low carbonation. Good stuff. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA Jan 15, 2005 Tap: light amber with no head. Decent hop aroma. Flavor was very balanced for a bitter. Whether that’s true to style? Was pretty surprised by this brew. CharlesDarwin (1823), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA Dec 20, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Light bread sugar and spicy English hop aroma. Airy and enjoyable. Pours a weighted gold, with no head. On the tongue, it moves gracefully with sprightly bright sugars balanced by the really nice spicy hop flavor, oaky bitterness, and mineral qualities. Very fresh tasting hop flavor, not too bitter. This beer moves as very dry and clean. Nice hop work in a deliciously drinkable style. Not thin, either, for the light weight. Dogbrick (2816), Columbus, Ohio, USA Apr 19, 2007 Sample at the brewpub: This brew is a cloudy golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Slick lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and toasted malt. Medium body and on the hoppy side, with notes of citrus and grainy malt mixed in. The finish is moderately bitter and leaves a flavorful hops aftertaste. This is a pretty good start to the sampling spectrum for this brewpub, especially considering the beer is less than 4%ABV.
