May 5, 2006 Draft @ Arbor Brewing: Hazy golden-yellow color with a small off-white head. Big hoppy aroma with floral and citrus notes. The hops covered up much of the caramel malt. The flavor had a malty start and some earthy hop. Kind of bland though. Long dry bitter finish. I was let down after such a nice aroma.

Aug 2, 2005 Draft at Arbor Brewing. Hazy light amber with a medium white head that diminshed slowly. Hoppy aroma. Medium to light body. Good flavor with a long bitter finish. Above average bitter.

Jul 16, 2005 Sampled on draught @ Arbor Brewing Company in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Cloudy pale. Heavily hoppy aroma giving very minty scents ruby red grapefruit and light herbs. Bready, lighty toasty malt that is pretty profound for its size with the same minty hops that were present in the nose. Another really great beer from Arbor.

Dec 9, 2007 sample at brewpub. Golden color, small head. The hops are prominent but not overdone. Mild and smooth and not too bitter. A solid brew.

May 6, 2006 On tap at the Arbor Brew Pub. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of floral, citrus and somewhat leafy. Tastes of floral, lightly spicy, and light caramel. Thinner body. Medium bitter finish.

Jul 14, 2006 On tap at the brewpub on 4/27/06: Pours a clear hazy golden with a nicely-lacing frothy white head. Dry, toasty, grainy, freshly American hopped aroma. Lightly-sweet, grainy, earthy malty body has a big hoppy bitter balance. Not necessarily very authentic, but enjoyable.

Sep 22, 2001 After a week of sampling Octoberfests it was nice to feel the full floral ferocity of a well hopped beer. There’s even a hint of something behind the hops and a bit of citrus on finish, but these attributes are just too small.

Aug 21, 2005 Couleur blonde dorée, apparence faiblement trouble. Faible mousse adhère bien à la paroi du verre. Arômes annonçant le sucre et la gomme baloune sous une faible part de houblon à caractère citronné. Une bière légère, peu maltée. Carbonatation très active, corps d’épaisseur semi mince.
