Commercial Description:
Our traditional northern German style Pilsner is brewed with all German malts, imported German Tettnang hops and a step-infusion mash for a classic crisp, dry, full-flavored Pilsner character. It is a deep golden, medium-full lager, with around 6% alcohol, and a distinct noble hop bitterness.

Clear yellow pour. Very thin. No head. Light dusty malt aroma. Surprisingly sweet and sticky malt, with a hint of wheaty grain, lemon thyme and a finish of light skunk. Finish is a bit sticky and cloying.

Semi-translucent and bold glowing yellow in color with a white wrung for the head. Sweet lemon esters reach the nose shortly before buttery lemonheads and starchy bread crust off of a honey-oat loaf. It’s not a traditional aroma, but it’s decent. Bright, musky pils malt twang rings true. Combination of sweetness and German hops align it one step below Prima Pils material. Lemon herbed crescent rolls and a trace of papaya bitters. Medium fairing and expertly executed balance quotient, traditionally speaking. Finishes with curt French baker rolls. Well done.

Tap at abc: Light to medium golden, with small head which dissapeard quickly, little lacing. Malty nose with faint fruit or citrus, this was different from the first tasting of it at abc...however a decent pilsner, very malty with bitter finish.

Aroma offers grainy malts with herbal and citrus hops. Golden body is hazy with low white head that diminishes to ring. Overly sweet and grainy/husky malt character with some herbal hop notes. Light body with moderately crisp carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

Texture aqueuse, corps mince

Sample at the brewpub in the company of those sexy Montrealers Rastacouere, Olivier_MTL and tiggmtl. Lightly grassy nose with a bit of lime showing through and escaping from a light, almost clear golden body with little head...lightly bitter, lactic body, a bit thick, juicy with little dryness or grassiness, or...well, this is just ordinary and dull.

A gentle white ring crowns the very pale golden hue which is interestingly slightly hazy. Saazy floral and spicy nose is quite vegetal and earthy which works pretty well for this pils. Dominating spicy hops accentuate the apparent lacking maltiness. Floral, woody tones work hands in hands. Crisp carbonation, interesting texture, medium bodied.
