Commercial Description:
Our traditional northern German style Pilsner is brewed with all German malts, imported German Tettnang hops and a step-infusion mash for a classic crisp, dry, full-flavored Pilsner character. It is a deep golden, medium-full lager, with around 6% alcohol, and a distinct noble hop bitterness.

Faint aroma; some lime notes. No head. Clear. Not much visible carbonation. No head or lace. Tastes somewhat like Tequiza. Our server lined the brews up wrong and so I thought this was the Huxel Best Bitter while I was rating it, thinking it was nothing like a bitter. Anyway, is somewhat bitter and not a bad pils at all.

Tap. A hazy golden color bordering on light amber. Decent head, no lacing. Aroma is malty and sweetish. Flavor runs very sweet to me and I get no drying/crisp/spicey hoppiness that I would expect with a pilsner. Slightly disappointing.

On Tap: Not much head to speak of. A little darker than what I’ve become accustomed to seeing in a pils, which is a good thing. A little hops in the aroma, I need to learn the varieties of hops outside the PNW. Crisp. If at ABC, I would normally order something else.

Dark golden with a fizzy small white head. The aroma is light mop water, bread, and faint grass. Very plain flavor, light grass, bread and citrus. Light palate. A dissapointment.

On tap: Citrusy aroma. Transparent orage yellowish-orange with a white head. Light citrus up front with a hop finish. A little orange peel in the finish as well. Citrusy aftertaste. Decent for a pilsner.

Tap sample: Very cloudy yellow with an unattractive grey tone to it. Very flat and grainy tasting, body is a thin-medium, only cripsness showing through was some hints of grassy hops at the finish. Left my mouth dry and unsatisfied.

Draft at Arbor Brewing Company Pub & Eatery. Appearance was a very small white head, uncarbonated, cloudy and a pale yellow hue. Aroma was malty, hoppy, somewhat soapy or perfume. Flavor was acidic, malty and hoppy. Tingly and dry mouthfeel. Unimpressed with this one.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a very small sized head of finely sized mostly diminishing white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained no carbonation, was cloudy and yellow in color. Its aroma contained notes of sweaty socks malts and dough. Its mouth feel is somewhat off and astringent with a hoppy malty off palate and aftertaste. Its flavor was very strange for a pils and it was not crisp and clean like it should be. Not one I would buy again.
