Aug 6, 2003 At the Michigan Beer Fest. Crisp and smooth, found this refreshing on a hot day. Very good pilsner with a character not found in most American pilsners.

Jan 3, 2006 Semi-translucent and bold glowing yellow in color with a white wrung for the head. Sweet lemon esters reach the nose shortly before buttery lemonheads and starchy bread crust off of a honey-oat loaf. It’s not a traditional aroma, but it’s decent. Bright, musky pils malt twang rings true. Combination of sweetness and German hops align it one step below Prima Pils material. Lemon herbed crescent rolls and a trace of papaya bitters. Medium fairing and expertly executed balance quotient, traditionally speaking. Finishes with curt French baker rolls. Well done.

Jan 27, 2007 A good pils, and something I could have pints of. Creamy, cloudy, peachy, lots of lace. Noble hops. Good bittering, and yet nice balance. Understated carbonation. One of the best of their abundant lineup.

Aug 30, 2007 draft at brewpub - Pours hazy and yellowish with some lacing. The mild aroma has some hops presence. There’s a good hops flavor and finish in this medium bodied brew. Nice pilsner.

Jun 5, 2006 The body was medium yellow colored. The aroma was potatoes with some celery. The taste was celery with some black pepper spice. There was also some peanuts. I thought this was a good version of the style.

Jul 30, 2005 A gentle white ring crowns the very pale golden hue which is interestingly slightly hazy. Saazy floral and spicy nose is quite vegetal and earthy which works pretty well for this pils. Dominating spicy hops accentuate the apparent lacking maltiness. Floral, woody tones work hands in hands. Crisp carbonation, interesting texture, medium bodied.

Jan 2, 2007 Clear golden pour with a thin white head. Aroma of mild hops and citrus. The flavor has some hops but the citrus is the dominant element. The body is light with a creamy texture abd gentle carbonation. Interesting.

Apr 11, 2006 On tap at Arbor Brewing Company. Pours a clear yellow color with little to no head. Citrus in the nose. Light bodied and dry. Lightly balanced flavors of malt, citrus, and earthy hops. A decent pilsner.
