Some of the earthy tones of Arcadias other brews, but not enough hop bite. A pretty average amber with a little more alcohol than usual. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 7, 2008 Unfiltered amber with the trademark (at least from the bottles I bought) colossal tan head. Aroma of grassy hops, cereal, light sweet malts and something musty. Over carbonated and caramel, earthy hops with a mild bitter – yet sweet – finish. cheapdark (2050), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

A very nice looking darker orange, cloudy with plenty of rolling carbonation for a show. Big foamy unfading head, probably because it was subject to a sudden jolt. Good carbonation. Chocolaty and malty at times. Quickly revealing lacing. Strong on the alky side as far as taste impression goes. Long lingering bitter finish. Quite a personality.

Cloudy copper with a huge head that walks out of the bottle and sticks around. Spicy peach, caramel, some earthy old-style barbershop hair tonic and grain in the aroma. Flavor is the same, plus some acidic apple-cherry notes after a bit, and a woody caramel apple finish. Light-medium body is smoothish and dryish with a little too much frothiness at times. This tastes like a specialty grain or spice beer. Aroma of sorghum and caramel malt. Pour was a nice medium amber with a one finger off white head. Taste was very different so I can’t describe it. Nice and bitey with a floral taste throughout. Very refreshing, just can’t put my finger on these tastes. Hudspart (374), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA

The flavor is good, but the appearance is spectacular.
