The light aroma is mainly just some malts. The flavor has a well balanced, mild hop bite. Refreshing and easy to drink, it would probably be better outside on a hot day. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA

Aroma starts malty, with notes of caramel and fruit (persimmon, apricot). Hops show briefly, spicy and grapefruit. Mellow and balanced, without as much extract-twang as their other beers I’ve tried. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Super clear lighter amber with a white head the clings to the side of the glass well. Kind of a spicey/herbal hop aroma. Lightly toasted and some caramel notes. Mostly hop flavor, earthy, piney. Caramel keeps this from being one dimensional, but just barley. Yeah, the palate lends a certian refreshing quality, but when you can get their IPA, why mess with this? zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA
