| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2007 12 oz bottle from oak tree. Hazy amber in color, with a ton of carbonation and a huge off white head. Aroma is great, seemingly because it is infected. Lemon rind and funky brett with light notes of citrus. Taste is not as good as the aroma, very dry, attentuated caramel and pale malts with notes of citrus and funk. Sometimes mistakes can lead to good things.... kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 10, 2007 Poured to a bright copper color with medium thivck white head, that reduced to a nice white skim atop the beer thru most of the glass and left fair lacing. Aroma was a muted, yet very pleasant blends of malts and hops, but the surprise was in the taste, which was a very complex mixture of spcies, bubblegum, floral hops and a hint of malty sweetness....all intertwined.
Keeping this theme, the finish seemed to alternate between a bitter and sweet, and although only 5.1% abv, the alcohol seemed to work itself in at the end as well. A very tasty and enjoyable beer.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 23, 2007 Updated: Jul 15, 2007First beer I’ve had from this brewer. I’ve had English pale ales and this one was not similar to others. The hops were mild and I couldn’t get passed that weird herbal thing going on. It was almost like an off sourness with flowers petals stems and all floating in there. It’s gonna take a loooong time to finish my 6’er. Probably a "now that I’m tanked I’ll slam one of these crappy things" AVOID.
Here we are 3 weeks later and this stuff ended up drain pour. Even when drunk I still had a hard time drinking this so the last 3 bottles went bye bye. FLUSH! BeerBelcher (945), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 17, 2007 This is the foamiest beer I’ve ever opened! It didn’t surge out of the bottle when I opened it, but the gentlest of pours down the side of a pint glass gave me nothing but a glass of foam and about 3mm worth of beer at the bottom. When things finally settled down I took a wiff and got some very mild hoppiness and some non-hop-generated citrus. Flavor is malty, watery, and unpleasant. Mouthfeel is watery. I can’t say I recommend this at all. rshah16 (39), Illinois, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 18, 2007 Pale/amber body with small, creamy white head. Herbal, light citrus and bread in the nose. Flavor is herbal, grassy with biscuity malts. Medium/light body is dry, moderately carbonated with a bitter finish. Nice. sethdude (604), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2007 Maybe I got a really good bottle, or others are nitpicking this one. Pours a hazy tan, huge white head and thick lacing. How could this possibly get less than a 3 in appearance? Aroma is somewhat faint, herbs and lemon (think Ricola drops plus hops). Flavor is fairly balanced, slightlly astringent. Hops are fruity and bitter, malts display balance and are somewhat subdued.
