Jun 1, 2008 I was greatly surprised and impressed by this one. I first heard about it last fall and I had looked it up and their own website made it sound like a weak, light beer so I avoided it for the longest time. However, I gave it a shot recently and was very glad I did. It reminded me of a strong, English pale, very similar to a Bass. It had some mild yet distict hops but also a solid malt finish. This may be one of my new favorites from Arcadia!

Mar 9, 2002 Hazy orange in color; VERY thick head with good rockiness; the nose has lots of yummy maltiness and tiny hint of bubblegum. Great mouthfeel- very round and fluffy. Hops are mild. Not very ’deep’ in it profile. A very nice session beer. Satisfying in a very ’beery’ sort of way.

Aug 25, 2001 Being an avid fisherman(normally over 60 days a year) I was enticed, but my expectations were low(kinda’ like buying the latest lure,because it looks so cool). I was really surprised by this one. Nicely hopped; a bit on the malty side but evenly balanced and refreshing. Try it, you may be pleasantly surprised too.

Mar 19, 2006 Copper body with a white cap. Cotton candy aroma nice flavor that makes me smile. A nice mellow sweetness permeates this. Toffee and something like maple syrup. Finish has a bitter level that compliments the sweet well. I’d like to add more but that sums up this enjoyable beverage I will purchase again.

Jul 10, 2007 Poured to a bright copper color with medium thivck white head, that reduced to a nice white skim atop the beer thru most of the glass and left fair lacing. Aroma was a muted, yet very pleasant blends of malts and hops, but the surprise was in the taste, which was a very complex mixture of spcies, bubblegum, floral hops and a hint of malty sweetness....all intertwined.
Keeping this theme, the finish seemed to alternate between a bitter and sweet, and although only 5.1% abv, the alcohol seemed to work itself in at the end as well. A very tasty and enjoyable beer.

May 23, 2002 Solid pale ale. Could be a little more hoppy and bitter. It does have a nice flavor and mouthfeel though.
