BPW #35 Served on tap at Arcadia Brewing Company. Appearance is a coffee brown. The aromas and flavors are rich mild coffee with milk chocolate and some good fruit esters. This reminds me a bit of a grape tootsie pop. Very nice beer one of the best at the brewery this day.

Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #32 of 90. Tap at Arcadia, shared taster (hands down best taster offering I’ve ever had...a total of 9-3oz pours for $7.99). Pours dark brown with ruby edges (becoming my favorite appearance), very nice and smooth taste, some bourbon/scotch hints, roasted malt, minimal dark fruit component. This was very nice! If it’s still there make sure to try. One of their better offerings at the time.

tap at brewery: Opaque black color with small tan head. Aroma is raosty, with caramel and vanilla. Flavor is tart, acidic, fair amount of bitter malts, with a dry finish and a touch of bitterness.

the aroma is richly malty with a thick rich brown head. The color is a dark brown with crimson hue. The flavor is full and roasty with chocolate hints and mild smokiness. This brew has a rich mouthfeel with a dry roasty finish.

Cask @ arcadia. Sample from the manager/brewer? who said it was the london porter with a certain malt removed and this would eventually be aged to become the bourbon barrel porter. Pours a black color with a creamy light tan head. Nose is lots of chocolate malt with a hint of bourbon. Very creamy mouthfeel. Notes of chocolate and coffee with some light smoke malt. Finishes with a slight warming.
