| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 6, 2005 Beautiful unfiltered and rusty bronze in color with a speckled, bubbly grey head. Hop smack aroma, tree sap, lilies, honey, caramel and a prevailing trait of dryness. Flavor rolls in with a nutty, red ale style malt complexity. Hops are at the forefront, bristling with a tree bark-esque conjecture. Age has made this a sophisticated, borderline strong ale. Undertone accents of spruce, toffee and pecans. Palate encasing and smoothly balanced. Finishes with honey and hops. Special thanks to Styles for sending this one my way! barleyPops (1079), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA

IMO the carbonation was too much. egajdzis (3626), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of citrus hops, perfume, pine, and caramel malts. Taste of citrus fruits, caramel malts, nuts, and a bitter grapefruit finish. Thanks hopdog! Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA

Along with citrus and sweetness. The flavor was hoppy, damn made me pucker up. But, there was flowers in the upper palate, as well and orange and spice on the tongue. Mouth feel, to me was just right. Thanks again to Mike. 1FastSTi (2560), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 30, 2005 The head was HUGE (careful). Huge foamy white head with excellent lacing atop a murky orange, rust colored body. The aroma oranges, flowers, other fresh citrus, and a light malt. The flavor is sweet caramel malts, pine, lime?. Mostly caramel and pine. The palate is a bit to "thick" for an IPA. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 23, 2005 12 oz. bottle: Open ’em if you got ’em, had one blow up on my friend. Murky rusty/orange, plenty o’ sediment, tan sustaining head. Hops, flowery at that, share the aroma with some stale bread, woodsy/outdoor airiness, bubblegum notes. Dark fruit and citrus meld together in the flavor, with the hops finally showing up in the end. Mouthfeel is chewy and dry. Mads Langtved (2246), Copenhagen K, Denmark
