The color is a combination of ruby and copper with a dirty white head. The aroma is very berry. Raspberry aroma is a bit sour and little else comes thru. Flavor has the requsite fruit presence but it is a bit jammy. Has a wheat character with some noticable yeast flavors that come out, but almost seperate from teh berry. It seems like two different beers that are not blended together well since you get one flavor, then the other. hershiser2 (923), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Open the bottle and it "ejaculates" all over me, the carpet, table, and everything else within reach. OK, maybe I shook it? No, same thing happens with the next bottle which had been chilling for hours and was removed very carefully from the fridge. Anyway, aroma is sweet wheat, with hints of raspberry candy. Flavor is kinda bland... and tastes more like artificial flavoring than fruit. Pailhead (2610), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 28, 2005 Bottle: Okay, not off to a good start when I open the bottle and the beer shoots all over the wall and on my keyboard. Aroma is rasberry with some light wheat characteristics. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a small slightly off-white head and a decent amount of sediment. Rasberry syrup from start to finish with maybe the slightest bit of hops in the finish. Don’t get any wheat characteristics in the flavor. A nice refreshing thirst quencher and somewhat tastey. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 13, 2005 Hazy orange-red body, medium off-white/light pink head. Light, biscuity aroma with raspberry syrup notes, little to no wit character noted. Bitter, somewhat spicy flavor with raspberry skin (thus, the beer isn’t necessarily sweet) and a touch of herbal/floral hops, rather tea-like and a touch soapy, characteristics of several Arcadia beers. Summer fruit beers are about as tired as summer wheat beers... LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 5, 2005 Cloudy golden with pinkish hues. nice raspberry aroma. nice raspberry flavor, not overbearingly sweet and syrupy, with some wheat, typical wit spiciness is not readily apparent, but still a refreshing summertime beer. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 5, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Transparent cherry amber in color with no head. Aroma is raspberry jam on english muffins. Flavor is sweet, and we’ve got wheat, leading to a Wonderbread transitory finish. Some strawberry seeds and cherry pits add an extra oomph to this summer sweetener. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
