Bottle sampled on 6/30/07: Pours a transparent dark copper mahogany with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty grainy caramel malt with a hint of funk and brett. Body starts fairly full and caramely sweet with a touch of earthy, funky brett and mild oak toward a drier finish. Interesting and fairly well-balanced brew with a hint of black cherries.

22. Thanks to the courtesy of some fine soul; I believe it was SecretSanta but it has been a while. Pours black with crystal-clear ruby highlights. Hige sudsy off-white head and intermittent bits of lace on the way down. Cola, tea, CO2, and maybe a bit of alcohol on the nose. Medium body, soft carb. Pleasant understated notes of brown bread, caramel, and cola on the mid-palate, with a sticky cola finish. Nice little effort here.

Part of a moment when Arcadia had a few bombers out at once. Sweet and malty. Dark. Almost what I want...

malty/alcohol aroma from a cloudy deep ruby brew. malty and fruit flavor but mostly run and alcohol flavor, not a good brew at all.

22 oz bottle. Chestnut pour with a quick to dissipate off white head with big bubbles. Smells like spiced apple cider with cinnamon and clove. Very fall. The flavor is unfortunately disappointing. Just a slight hint of the spices that seemed dominant in the aroma (cinnamon, nutmeg and clove) and little else. Maybe a light musty malt apple hint…maybe. Body is wet and semi-dry with a medium mouth feel. While this was drinkable, it did not do that much for me, boring really.

Beige head with a reddish brown body...<----some call it ecru...faint sweet aroma, with a penetrating scent of alcohol...Flavor: alcohol and malts twisting together in a passionate blend beneath the blankets of sweetness....good but un-balanced....dirty talk comes naturally with this beer

Dark brown-mahogeny color. Dark fruit, with some roasted chocolate, caramel, and a sour vinous/balsamic streak. Medium to thin body. Complex, but not to my taste.

(22oz bottle) Minimal beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, sour cherry, oak, some caramel. Taste is medium sweet, sour cherry, oak, some caramel, light chocolate. Medium body, light stickiness. Alcohol fairly well hidden. Comes across as a Sour Ale, and a good one at that.
