Thanks to whoever brought this to the Tennessee Spring(ish) Tasting! Pours with a frothy off white head over a muddy brown body. Fruity malt aroma. Slightly tart flavor that comes in with a thin body. O.K.

Bottle... Dark, hazy, near burnt-orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. The nose is perfumey and floral with vinous esters and notes of toffee & tobacco... also, a whisper of camphor. Hearty caramel and chocolate malt flavor with esters of port wine and toffee with mild acidity. Moderately bitter; moderately sweet. Full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Lengthy, alcohol-bitter, warming finish. Kudos to vyvvy for sending the bottle my way!

pours rich mahogany with small beige head. aroma of spices, ripe fruit, ample floral hop, maybe some acid note, and some dark caramel. taste has a weird sourness with spiced plum and bad nuts. finish is somewhat piney bitter but still retains the sourness. the beer has some malt sweetness but comes off as pretty thin and watery. aroma advertised the beer well but it just doesnt come together in the mouth.

Lightly hazed umber color, that reveals some orange when held to the light. Small lid of beige bubbles. Very light aromas with stewed plums and prunes. Some hints of floral hops. Fairly zippy in feel, but still enough heft to keep it feeling watery. Light sweet fruit in the start with just a hint of rum. Continues to get drier the further in the swallow. Flavors of almonds and pecans set atop the fruit cake. Woody in the finish. More a strong ale than an old ale, but middle of the road either way.

a lager-ale, sweet malts with an ale hoppy like the IPA. Tiny dancer on the tongue, slight metallic aftertaste. wonderful dark copper color with soft carbonation. Had on draft at Arcadia brew pub next door to Kellogg Cereal City.

Dark Amber Color with White Ring. Aroma has Subtleties of a Dubbel or Old Ale...Dark Rich Breaded Malt Notes...Fruit, Toast...Althought Actually Smells a Bit Diluted. The Nose Spoke the Truth to the Tongue...A Bit Watery Overall. Definitly a Warming Feeling...Toasted Nuttiness... Dark Breaded Notes..Some Light Fruity / Date Notes.. Dry Roasted Finish. A ’Simple’ Old Ale.

Moderate malt arome with hints of red wine and fruits. Hazy brown color with a small white head. Starts a little watery. Finishes with a small alcohol bite.

2006 vintage bomber bottle. This is the least strong of their "Big Beer Series," so I’m not taking the chance of cellaring too long. Pours dark reddish brown, little to no head. Warm alcohol and malt smell. Taste is slightly tart; mostly fruity warm-fermented ale taste, thick caramel malt, almost chewy. Light hop balance. Picked up in December that Arcadia’s 10th anniversary celebration.
