Aroma of light roast. Flavor of roasted malt with sweet cocoa powder and a bitter chocolate finish. Slightly artificial sweetness but still pretty good. Nice chocolate beer. daknole (2940), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 2, 2008 well I finally get to try this thanks to dkachur. The name alone made me want one badly! Pours a super dark brown/almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolate and fresh ground chocolate. Flavor is milk chocolate, some coffee and a tart finish. I think if you took away the tartness this beer would have a much higher rating. It is quite unique and I am very glad to have tried it. fredandboboflo (1404), East Setauket, New York, USA

Surprisingly not really artificial tasting despite the quantities of chocolate here. Pretty tasty. zeke626 (302), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Quite carbonated - head disappears quickly. Aroma of lactose, coffee grounds, cocoa/chocolate, and roasted malts. Flavors of dark fruit, light cocoa/coffee, and roasted malts with an odd tartness from the lactose. Weak body with a bitter, watery, sour fruit finish. guyinchicago (526), marengo, Illinois, USA
