Lots of Roasted grain and malt,no real chocolate coming through, taste comes at you like bitter bakers chocolate and roastedness, and settles into heavy grain roasted malt and old chocolate cake,in itself ,not a bad stout, but very deceiving to put the words Triple Chocolate with it. You expect a Southern Tier Choklat type full chocolate body, not in this batch

12 oz. Dark pour with a thin head. Light aroma - cocoa, light hops - rather subdued. Good flavor for the style, easy to drink. Medium body, dry finish. Nothing mind blowing, but not bad.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark black chocolate. Aroma was chocolate and roasted coffee. The taste was muted sweet chocolate and coffee like a mocha java. The palate was a little bit thinner than expected.

750 bottle. Pours a deep black with a thin head. Tastes thin and not rich or heady at all for a chocolate stout. Drinkable but nothing great compared to Speedway, Choklat, or Rogue Chocolate stout.

22oz from Warehouse Beverage, Cleveland Heights. Certainly looks promising enough, a hefty, thick black pour with a thin head and clingy lacing. The aroma is very lactic, a bit one-dimensional given that this brew advertises its roasted and chocolate dimensions. Sadly, this is by far the dominant flavor in this beer, a deep and almost vegetal kind of milk bordering on sour, with almost no cocoa or roasted malts detectable.

You can definitely smell the molasses in the aroma of this beer. It has a thin body and a small head. I don’t like the flavor on this one. It seems as though something is out of balance or something. The best way I can describe this flavor is slightly metallic. I don’t want another bottle of this beer ever....unless I somehow opened a defective one.

22oz, really disappointed with this one, just too thin with the flavor, poured with a big fluffy head, not sure why??? taste was just a hint of chocolate and really bland to me,and on a night where i had no other drinks. strange?

Bottle: Not that great. Pours very dark with a small head. At this point it looks pretty good. Almost no aroma though. Taste of mild coffee, chocolage and vinegar. Not awful, but not great.
