Aromatics are heavy with instant cocoa, roasted malts, and coffee beans. Nestle’s quik with malted milk balls.
Mouthfeel is creamy and fullish.
The pallet is laced with Milk Duds, powdered cocoa, and roasted coffee beans.
Alcohol is lightly warming and enough to keep things interesting, but certainly not within the realm of an Imperial stout as we know it.
Finishes clean and chocolaty with lingering roast.
Pretty tasty, more akin to an export stout, and the cocoa adds a nice twist without becoming burdensome.

Nice molasses, tar (makes sense to me) aroma. Darkbrown.black aroma, decent size tannish head. Chocolate, molasses, sort of dairy/milk taste - milk stout! Smooth, silky. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 24, 2007 Sample from a 22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99 at the Cincy gathering. Pours black with a medium sized diminishing beige head. The nose is bitter dark chocolate, lightly sweet, with roasted malts and some dark fruit. The flavor surprisingly opens with a fruity burst along with the chocolate. This breaks into a roasted malt finish. Dry and slightly bitter finish. With everything else we had this may have suffered in comparison. Thanks Tom. blankboy (3214), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with an average size diminishing light-brown head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt, chocolate, lactic notes and light hops. Slightly watery flavour is lightly roasted, lactic, creamy and chocolaty with some green hops in the finish. Average bodied, creamy mouthfeel. A decent Stout. Chris_o’s GBBF Shindig, August 2008. Soft cheap milky chocolate flavour in a creamy fizz. Fades, but it’s OK. [2.8] Edmoe (128), Orlando, Florida, USA
